3. Be aware of your limits
If you feel that you are still groggy or not fully alert, evaluate if it is really necessary to go outside. If the situation allows, reconsider your decision or find a way to postpone the exit until you are more lucid.
4. Avoid driving
If you have to go out, try not to drive immediately after you wake up. Your ability to react may be diminished. Choose to walk or use public transportation if possible, or ask someone you trust to drive you.
