1. Preheat the Oven
- Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a deep 9-inch pie dish or similar baking dish.
2. Cook the Meat Filling
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and sausage over medium-high heat (6–8 minutes). Drain excess grease.

3. Assemble the Pie
- Press pie crust or rolled-out pizza dough into the dish, covering bottom and sides.
- Sprinkle half the mozzarella (and cheddar, if using) over the crust.
- Spoon meat mixture evenly on top.
- Layer pepperoni slices over the meat.
- Finish with remaining mozzarella cheese.
4. Bake
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning—watch closely!

- Let pie cool slightly before slicing.
